WII SPORTS
Wii Sports is great, particularly if you have a group of friends that you can play with. I don't, really, but
it's still fun to play solo. I mostly play the 9 hole golf game - my current record is 8 under par, though
I'm in a bit of a southward turn lately that's only scoring me 2 under for the course. The really bad thing about
the Wii Sports Golf is that there's only 9 holes. I really wish they had more. I haven't tried the
Tiger Woods Golf yet, but the Wii Sports Golf is really what I've been enjoying.
The Wii Sports Baseball is probably the game I play second most. Sometimes you get on a roll and just score like
crazy, and other times they have underhand pitchers that mess with your timing. And it's really tough to pitch
sometimes. They really like to ignore the inside pitches for some reason. That's pretty frustrating sometimes.
Wii Sports Bowling is great. I have yet to figure out how to get a ton of spin on the ball, but otherwise I'm
pretty consistent with my usual throw that goes pretty straight with a slight leftward spin at the end. So
basically just move the guy to the right twice and then throw, and I can get a strike/spare consistently.
Wii Sports Tennis is just okay. You can't play singles for some reason, and usually I wind up playing both
people in doubles. It's a little tough to hit winners or control much of the game, unless you take advantage of
the front character.
Wii Sports Boxing - I haven't played it much beyond the first few times. I was put off by the Age tests that
are really annoying. I haven't taken the time to learn the exact punches and refuse to do the boxing in the Age
tests. I should play the Boxing game though, I recall that being fun too.
All in all, it's pretty awesome overall. They really need to add some more holes to the golf course. It's a great
new way to play video games and have fun with friends and be competitive and active.
DEFINITELY RECOMMEND
